Baseet Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Baseet handles information when the application and its services are used.
Baseet is designed so that the user's educational work records are primarily stored locally on the user's device. Baseet does not rely on a centralized database maintained by the Service Provider for storing learner records.
1. Locally Stored Data
Depending on the features used, Baseet may store information created or entered by the user locally on the device, including:
- Classes and learner records.
- Images associated with records.
- Attendance information.
- Assessments and notes.
- Behaviors and interactions.
- Schedules, appointments, and reminders.
- User settings and educational context.
These records remain locally stored on the user's device.
Baseet does not upload the user's complete class database or learner profiles to Baseet servers.
2. Learner Health Information
Baseet is not designed or intended for recording or processing learners' health information and does not provide dedicated functionality for storing such information.
Using unrelated fields or features of the application to record learner health information is outside the intended use of Baseet.
3. Account and Service Information
When an account is used, Baseet processes a limited amount of information required to operate the account and related services, which may include:
- Account identifier.
- Email address or name made available by the sign-in provider, where applicable.
- Account status.
- Subscription plan and subscription status.
- Service usage allowances and consumed usage.
- Limited operational information required to process requests and calculate usage.
This information is not used to create a centralized database of the user's educational content or learner records.
The Service Provider does not receive or store the user's Apple or Google account password.
4. Voice Input
Speech-to-text processing is performed locally on the user's device.
Audio recordings are not transmitted to Baseet servers or to Baseet's artificial intelligence providers.
The Service Provider does not store the user's voice recordings.
After speech has been converted to text on the device, the resulting text may be used to perform the function requested by the user.
5. Artificial Intelligence Processing
Baseet uses artificial intelligence services to interpret the language structures and linguistic meaning of text entered by the user or produced from voice commands, and to classify that text as necessary to execute commands and functions requested by the user within the application.
The AI functionality is not used to collect information about the user, build user profiles, or collect the application's locally stored database.
When the user chooses to use an AI-assisted feature, the text required to perform that function may be processed for that purpose.
Baseet does not transmit the complete locally stored class database or complete learner profiles to AI services.
6. Artificial Intelligence Service Providers
Text required to provide AI-assisted functions may be processed by one of the global technology providers used by Baseet, including:
- Oracle
- OpenAI
- Alibaba Cloud
These services are used only as required to perform the AI-assisted function requested by the user.
The Baseet Service Provider does not retain educational content submitted for AI processing as a permanent centralized database of the user's educational records.
7. Backups
Baseet does not maintain centralized backups of the user's educational records on Baseet servers.
If the user chooses to create a backup, the backup is stored using an account, storage service, or device backup mechanism selected by the user or provided by the device operating system.
The selected storage account may be personal or organizational.
The backup remains subject to the settings, security, and policies of the storage service selected by the user and remains under the control of that account or service.
8. Notifications
Baseet may use two types of notifications.
Local notifications:
Generated directly on the device for schedules, appointments, reminders, and other local application functions.
Notifications sent by Baseet:
The Service Provider may send notifications relating to the application or services available to the user.
Providing push notifications may require a technical notification identifier associated with the device or application installation.
This identifier is not used by Baseet to build an advertising or behavioral profile of the user.
Users can control notification permissions through the device operating system.
9. Device Permissions
Depending on the functions selected by the user, Baseet may request access to device capabilities such as:
- Microphone access for voice commands.
- Notifications.
- Photos or camera access when the user chooses a feature that requires them.
Permissions are used only in connection with the relevant application functionality.
10. External Technical Services
Some Baseet functions depend on external technology services, which may include:
- Authentication and sign-in services.
- App-store services used to process purchases and subscriptions.
- Push notification services.
- The AI service providers identified in this Privacy Policy.
- A storage service selected by the user when using backup functionality.
These services are used to provide their corresponding functionality.
The Service Provider does not sell, rent, or trade user data or learner data.
11. Data Retention
Educational records stored locally remain on the user's device until they are modified or deleted by the user, or until the application's local data is removed from the device.
Baseet retains only the information required to operate accounts, subscriptions, and service usage limits for as long as it is needed to provide those functions.
The Service Provider does not maintain a centralized database containing the user's classes or learner records.
12. Account Deletion
Users may request deletion of their Baseet account directly from within the application.
An external account deletion page is also available at:
https://api.baseetaiapp.com/delete-account
When account deletion is completed, account data managed by the Baseet Service Provider is deleted.
Account deletion does not automatically remove:
- Local data that remains on the user's device.
- Backups stored in an account or storage service selected by the user.
- Purchase or subscription records independently maintained by Apple, Google, or another applicable purchasing platform.
Deleting the Baseet account also does not automatically cancel an active app-store subscription. Subscription management is handled through the applicable purchasing platform.
13. Data Security
Online communications between Baseet and its services use encrypted connections.
Locally stored data remains within the application storage managed by the device operating system.
Backups stored using external services are subject to the security controls of the storage service selected by the user.
14. No Sale of Data or Advertising Use
Baseet does not sell or trade user data or learner data.
Learner records and educational content are not used to create advertising profiles or to target users with advertising.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when Baseet functionality or data-processing practices change.
The effective date of the current version appears at the beginning of this document.
